“The Secret World of Arrietty” (2010), an animated feature directed by Academy Award nominee Hiromasa Yonebayashi, will be screened in U.S. theaters in IMAX on Tuesday and Wednesday, May 19-20.

In an adaptation of Mary Norton’s “The Borrowers,” one of the most beloved children’s books of all time, the Clock family consists of three four-inch-tall people who live incognito among humans, borrowing only what they need to survive. Their quiet life changes when their teenage daughter, Arrietty, is discovered.

GKIDS continues its collaboration with IMAX to bring newly remastered 4K Studio Ghibli titles to North American audiences. Tickets are now on sale, with showings in both the original Japanese language with subtitles and English language dubbed versions. Info: https://gkids.com/films/the-secret-world-of-arrietty/tickets/
