A funeral service for Anna Asami Nakamoto Shishido, 99-year-old, Los Angeles, Calif.-born Nisei who passed away on June 29, 2026 in Arleta, Calif., will be held Saturday, July 25, 2026, 10 a.m. at Kubota Mortuary, 911 Venice Blvd., Los Angeles, with Rev. Yuki Himeji from L.A. Hompa Hongwanji Buddhist Temple officiating.
She is survived by her children, Charlene Hisayasu, Darrel Shishido, Patricia Workman and Lori (Steven) Weston; grandchildren, Curtis (Samantha Simon) and Brent (Rebekah) Hisayasu, Lauren (David Hayes) and Maxwell Workman, Holden and Madison Weston; seven great-grandchildren; also survived by many nieces, nephews and other relatives.
