Terminal Islanders participated in Long Beach Buddhist Church’s 2022 Bon Odori.
Long Beach Buddhist Church, 2360 Santa Fe Ave. in Long Beach, will hold its Obon Festival on Saturday, Aug. 29, from 3 to 9:30 p.m.
Bon Odori starts at 6:30 p.m. and everyone is welcome to participate.
The family-friendly festival will also feature food, games for kids, live music, an ikebana display, a vintage sale, a “Kimono 101” presentation, bake sale, and a talk on Buddhism.
The Obon Festival was revived in 2017 after a long hiatus.
