Funeral services for Hiroko Mayeda, 76-year-old, Japan-born, resident of Los Angeles, who passed away on June 30 at Garden Crest Hospital will be held at Rose Hills Memorial Park Hillside Chapel, 3888 South Workman Mill Road, Whittier, under the direction of Rose Hill Mortuary with Rev. John Iwohara officiating on Saturday July 9 at 9 a.m. Viewing will be held on July 8 at Rose Hills Mortuary between 5 and 8:30 p.m.
Hiroko immigrated to the United States in 1958, married Hideo Mayeda and raised a family. She is survived by her two sons, Gary and Glenn; two brothers Mikihiko, Kuniaki, and three sister, Takako, Yoshie, and Sachiko; many nieces, nephews, loving friends and relatives.
