Mr. Hiroshi Jim Kawakami, 89, WWII U.S. Army Veteran, passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family at his residence on Feb. 26, 2013.
Private family service was held.
He is survived by his wife, Yaeko Gracie Kawakami; daughters, Lynne (Robert) Konno, Julie Dee Kawakami and Wendy (Jeffrey) Wakayama; and a son; grandchildren, Holly of Oregon, Kelly of Minnesota, Jennifer, Mark, Ashley and Brian; 5 great-grandchildren; brother, Dr. George (Ruth) Kawakami; sister, Yoshiye Alice Nishikawa; also survived by many nieces, nephews and other relatives.
