Chiyoko Nako, 87-year-old Okinawa-born resident of Oceanside, peacefully passed away on July 11, 2013. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, Aug. 3, at 1 p.m. at the Rainbow Chapel, Rose Hills Memorial Park, Whittier. A repast will follow services at Hibachi Grill Buffet in Norwalk.
She is survived by two daughters, Joyce and June Nako, two grandchildren, Kiyoshi Parker and Jenni Gordon, her husband Danei, and 5 great-grandchildren, Earl, Jr., Gele, Dajian, Davin and Justyce.
