GARDENA — Gardena Buddhist Church’s Obon Festival will be held Saturday, Aug. 3, from 3 to 10 p.m. and Sunday, Aug. 4, from 2 to 9 p.m.

Bon Odori is from 6 to 8 p.m. both days. Halldale Avenue between 166th Street and Gardena Boulevard will be blocked off to accommodate the hundreds of dancers.

The food booths will offer teriyaki, udon, Spam musubi, sushi, tamales, hot dogs, corn, dango and more. There will also be games, a white elephant sale, and entertainment, including UC Irvine’s Jodaiko and Gardena Buddhist Church’s own Isami Taiko.
