Tom Nakawatase, the son of Kenzo and Ikuko Nakawatse, passed away on October 16, 2013 at the age of 74. He was born on January 21, 1939 in California and had been a long-time resident of Harbor City. Tom is survived by his beloved wife, Kay; sons, Mike (Lori) and Steve (Karen); grandchildren, Kaitlyn and Nicole; and sisters, June, Aiko and Midori. Church service will be held on Friday, October 25, 2013 at 11 a.m. at Gardena Buddhist Church, 1517 W. 166th St., Gardena, CA 90247. Casual attire is requested.
