A private funeral service for Eiko Ishida, 85-year-old, Fresno, Calif.-born Nisei, who passed away on Dec. 18, 2013 in Alhambra, was held on Saturday, Dec. 21, 2013 at Gedatsu Church of Los Angeles with Rev. Kazuo Yamada officiating.

She is survived by her husband, Rev. Junnosuke Ishida; sons, Tadao, Fumio and Kohei (May) Ishida; grandson, Derrick Ishida; siblings, Shizue Shiroishi, and Kiyoe and Yoshio (Aiko) Ishida; also survived by many nieces, nephews and other relatives.
