Mr. George Okimoto, 91, Fresno-born Nisei and long-time resident of Bellflower, passed away on Jan 28. He is survived by his loving family: wife, Alice; daughters, Coleen (Bob) Wakai, Joni (Darryl) Griffin, April Okimoto; son, Joe (Janet) Okimoto; grandchildren, Craig and Lauren Wakai, Jillian and Jenna Okimoto and Aliana Griffin; sister, Kazi Fujii of Michigan; and many relatives.
Memorial services will be held at the SkyRose Chapel on Monday, Feb. 9, at 11 a.m. at Rose Hills Memorial Park, Whittier. The family requests casual attire.
