A funeral service for Yemiko Okumoto, 88-year-old, Hollywood, Calif.-born Nisei who passed away on Aug. 1, 2018 in L.A., will be held on Friday, Aug. 17, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. at L.A. Hompa Hongwanji Buddhist Temple, 815 E. First St., L.A.
She is survived by her husband, Yoshiharu Okumoto; children, Hiroshi, Tadashi (Karen) and Yuji (Angie) Okumoto, Dr. Sachi (Dr. Scott) Wadsworth; grandchildren, Dr. Michael (Yillian) and Kyle Okumoto, Derek and Ethan Wadsworth, Mari, Keilee and Emi Okumoto; sister, Sachie Masumoto; nephew, Kazu Masumoto; niece, Tokiko Sasai; also survived by many other relatives.
