A private funeral service for Connie Shizuko Matayoshi, 71-year-old, Los Angeles, Calif.-born Nisei, who passed away on May 9, 2023, in Los Angeles, was held on Saturday, May 20, 2023, at Senshin Buddhist Temple.
She is survived by her husband, Dexter Nishiyama; brother, Gene (Maria) Matayoshi; sister-in-law, Esther (Mike) Ota; also survived by five nieces and many other relatives.
