A funeral service for Fusae “Fusie” Nishina, 94-year-old, Imperial Valley, Calif.-born Nisei who passed away on July 3, 2025, in Los Angeles, will be held on Saturday, July 26, 2025, 10 a.m. at Venice Hongwanji Buddhist Temple, 12371 Braddock Dr., Culver City.
She is survived by her daughter, Gail Nishina (Merle) Sharp; grandsons, Steven (Bishnu) and Ryan Sharp; great-granddaughter, Hana Sharp; siblings, Ichiro (Marcia) and Hideo Kikumoto, Etsuko Nakano, Yasuko Nakahara, Shigeko Hirai; sister-in-law, Yayeko Nishina; also survived by many nieces, nephews and other relatives.
