
The next Crunchyroll Anime Nights outing will feature a special screening of “Fruits Basket -prelude.”
The 2022 feature-length episode will screen in the U.S. and Canada for one night only on Monday, Feb. 16, in an English dub format.

The original “Fruits Basket” manga by Natsuki Takaya was serialized in “Hana to Yume” from 1998 to 2006 for a total of 23 volumes. Yoshihide Ibata directed “Fruits Basket-prelude” at TMS Entertainment. Taku Kishimoto handled the screenplay, with Masaru Shindo on character designs and Masaru Yokoyama on music.
“Fruits Basket-prelude” followed the broadcast of the newest “Fruits Basket” anime series, which aired from 2019 to 2021. Crunchyroll currently streams the series.
