Ted was born in Los Angeles to Seichi and Hisayo Yasunaga on Nov. 12, 1921, and passed at the age of 104. He grew up helping his family work their farm in Torrance. He was a decorated veteran of the 442nd  Regimental  Combat Team. After the war, he met and married the love of his life, Fusa Nii, in Chicago. They moved to Los Angeles, where he worked at Max Factor as a graphic artist. He spent his retirement years in the comfortable and joyful environment of Nikkei Senior Gardens. He is survived  by his nephew, Larry (Wendy) Hirota; and niece, Karen Tamura; as well as numerous grandnieces and nephews. Private funeral arrangements are pending.
