Senshin Buddhist Temple, 1311 W. 37th St. in Los Angeles, will hold its annual Bon Odori on Saturday, June 27.
Note that the event will not beld during 4th of July weekend this year.
Hatsubon service to honor those who have passed since the last Obon will begin at 4:30 p.m.
Bon Odori with taiko accompaniment at 7 p.m., followed by raffle drawing at 8:30 p.m.
Hondo Omairi (visiting the main hall) and Sento Shogon at 9 p.m. This year marks the 50th anniversary of the 1,000 oil lamps, which are lit in memory of loved ones.
Otoki (light refreshments) at 9:30 p.m., followed by Horaku (Buddhist music) by Kinnara Taiko.
