The Long Beach Japanese Cultural Center, 1766 Seabright Ave. in Long Beach, will present its Summer Festival on Saturday, June 27, from 3 to 9:30 p.m.
The annual event will feature food, games, exhibits, demonstrations and performances. The schedule is as follows:
4 p.m.: Ikebana
4:30 p.m.: Judo
5 p.m.: Karate
5:30 p.m.: Kendo
6:30 p.m.: Ondo
8:30 p.m.: Taiko
The menu includes teriyaki, cabbage ramen salad, inari, Spam/kimchi musubi, Okinawan dango, udon, curry rice, hot dogs, chili rice, corn, nachos and shave ice.
