A private family service for the late Gerald Jerry Tanaka, 76-year-old, California-born resident of Porter Ranch, who passed away on May 15, 2026, was held on Saturday, June 27, at Fukui Mortuary “Chapel in the Garden” in Los Angeles.
He was predeceased by his parents, Sigeo and Setsuko Tanaka. He is survived by his beloved wife, Arlene Tanaka; son, Kellen Tanaka; daughter, Brianne (Taizo) Tachibana; and grandson, Zander Tachibana. He is also survived by his sister, Beverly (Clifford) Oyama; nieces, nephew and other relatives.
