It is with great sadness that the family of Fumiyo Mayeda announces her passing on Friday, July 24, 2026, at the age of 96 in Long Beach, California.
Fumiyo never married and had no children. She is survived by her nieces, Nancy, Amy, Alyssa, and Lynn; and her nephews, Alan, Nick, and Ron. Her ashes will be scattered at sea during a private family service.
