Private service for the late Masatsugu “Sam” Shoji, 92-year-old, California-born resident of Long Beach, who passed away on Dec. 29, was held on Thursday, Jan. 5, at Fukui Mortuary “Chapel in the Garden.”
He is survived by his wife, Tomiyo; daughters, Diane (Mike) Uyehara, and June, Nancy and Linda Shoji; grandchildren, Ryan and Katrina Uyehara.
