Funeral services for the late Mrs. Asako Akasaka, 79-year-old, Fukushima, Japan-born, resident of Los Angeles, who passed away on Dec. 10, 2011, were held on Feb. 19, 2012 at West Los Angeles Holiness Church.
She is survived by her daughters, Lori and Fern Akasaka; sisters, Kiyoko (Hajime) Kumasaka, Yoko (Tadayoshi) Sato, Fuku (Takebumi) Kamota; preceded in death by her husband, Howard Akasaka; also survived by nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
