WEST HOLLYWOOD — Yoko Ono and Adopt the Arts invite you to experience the art of John Lennon at Legacy Fine Art, 101 N. Robertson Blvd. (at Alden) in West Hollywood.

Dates and times: Friday, Dec. 12, from 12 to 8 p.m.; Saturday, Dec. 13, from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m.; Sunday, Dec. 14, from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Artwork will be available for purchase.

Ono and Legacy Fine Art & Productions have brought this exhibit across the U.S. for the past 20-plus years to honor Lennon’s memory and celebrate his message of peace and love. The collection consists of Lennon’s drawings and song writings. Nearly 100 limited-edition lithographs, serigraphs and copper etchings will be on display.

Ono and Lennon were married from 1969 until the former Beatle’s death on Dec. 8, 1980. She noted that one of the prints, “The City in My Heart,” was created during their honeymoon.

The exhibition is also a venue to raise funds and awareness for local charities. This weekend’s show will benefit Adopt the Arts (www.adoptthearts.org).

No tickets needed. Suggested $3 donation at the door will help benefit Adopt the Arts. For more information, call (888) 278-1969 or email LennonArtwork@aol.com. On the Web: http://johnlennonartwork.com
