Shinya Honda - Rafu Shimpo

Shinya Honda, 91 years old, born in Denver, Colo. and formerly a long-time resident of Oakland, peacefully passed away on May 16 in Los Angeles. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, June 23, 2018 at 10:30 a.m., Hollenbeck Palms, 573 S. Boyle Ave., Los Angeles, CA 90033.

Mr. Honda is survived by his children, Eileen (Mark) Hollander, Marsha (Victor) King; grandchildren Ryan King, Eric King, Jennifer Blanton and Melissa Ritchie; sisters, Yasuko (Robert, predeceased) Utsumi, Michiko (Gus, predeceased) Tanaka and Mariko (Donald) Utsumi. Mr. Honda also leaves behind many beloved nieces, nephews, grandnieces, grandnephews, great grandnieces and a great grandnephew.
