ARCADIA — Santa Anita Park and OI Racetrack, 285 W Huntington Dr. in Arcadia, celebrate 25 years of friendship with Japan Family Day & Food Fair on Saturday, Sept. 30, and Sunday, Oct. 1, featuring the G3 Tokyo City Cup.
Through the years, it has become one of the most popular Japanese family festivals in Southern California, featuring cultural events, demonstrations and food. Highlights include a cosplay contest, calligraphy workshop, and a special Omatsuri section for kids and families.
Event begins at 12 p.m. and ends at 5 p.m. Location: Kingsbury Fountain and Trackside Apron – the horses run right by you. Parking: Gate 3 off Huntington Drive (included in your Eats Starter Pack).

Tokyo City Cup will take place on Sunday only. Santa Anita Park and Ohi Racecourse of Tokyo have enjoyed a special relationship since 1995. Each year the Tokyo City Cup Race is run to acknowledge and celebrate the partnership between two of the premier tracks in their respective countries. The Tokyo City Cup has been upgraded to Grade III in 2005.
