So-Phis of Orange County, a social and philanthropic organization, will host its 65th annual Fashion Show, Luncheon and Boutique on Saturday, April 12, at the newly renovated Anaheim Hilton and Towers, located at 777 Convention Way next to the Convention Center.

The luncheon begins at 12 noon and the fashion show at 1 p.m.

The amazing duo of David Ono, ABC7 news anchor (winner of the Anchor of the Year Award and Edward R. Murrow Award, filmmaker of “Defining Courage”) and Aaron Takahashi (actor and writer, known for “Yes Man,” “The Wedding Ringer” and “Mr. Robot”) will again serve as masters of ceremonies.

This year’s theme is “Imagine.” So-Phis is proud to be giving back to the community for over 65 years. Anticipation for the luncheon and show is growing with entertainment provided by Kibou Taiko and the Grateful Crane Ensemble. Local community leaders along with adorable children models will grace the runway with fashions provided by Tierra Murra, Shoyu Drip and Hide & Squeak. Additionally, So-Phis is honored and excited to have the women modeling Tadashi Shoji evening wear.

Silent auction items that can be bid on include resort stays in Jamaica and Kauai, autographed ukelele from Jake Shimabukuro, Tadashi Shoji dresses, Mikami Wine, Easter and Mother’s Day themed baskets and more.

The unique boutique, including items from fashion show designers along with local and Hawaii artisans, is open to the public starting at 9:30 a.m.

Raffle tickets are $5 each or $20 for a book of five. Prizes are: $500 Disney Bundle, Ray Ban Meta Smart Glasses, and $200 Visa gift card.

Proceeds from previous fashion shows went to support local nonprofits including Terasaki Budokan, Changing Tides, East West Players, Grateful Crane Ensemble, Keiro, Kizuna, Little Tokyo Nutrition Services, Nikkei Games, Nisei Week Foundation, Zentoku Foundation and more.

A portion of this year’s proceeds will be donated to relief efforts to assist community members impacted by the devastating wildfires.
