The officers’ installation luncheon, in conjunction with the presentation of the Nikkei Spirit Awards and the Community Organization Recognition Award, will be held on Sunday, Jan. 26, at Almansor Court in Alhambra.
On Nov. 30, a kick-off event for JCCSC’s year-end charity was held at Japanese Village Plaza in Little Tokyo. Relief funds for typhoon victims in the Philippines were solicited on the weekends of Nov. 30-Dec.1, Dec. 7-8, and Dec. 14-15 at several locations in Little Tokyo, Gardena and Costa Mesa.
